

Maria Macia meat is the result of a partnership among farmers from Paraná. The aim is the production of special meat. The idea came up in 2004 due to the demand for high quality meat by costumers in the region. Nowadays the group is formed by four cattle farmers from Campo Mourão region. They all work under the same management philosophy, integrating the agriculture and livestock activities. With the same professionalism dedicated to the agriculture, these farmers have engaged to the livestock activity, focusing on the meat precocity and quality. Maria Macia system is grounded on the breeding of precocious calves originated from industrial crossings, bred in highly productive pastures, that may be finished in feed lot.
